Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-06-18This Privacy Policy explains how Deckly ("Deckly", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Deckly mobile application (the "App"). Deckly is an independent app operated from Türkiye. By using Deckly, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account data. Your email address and the PIN you choose when you create an account. The PIN is stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider — we cannot see or recover it. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive your email address (or Apple's private relay address if you choose to hide it). We do not store your name.
- Content you create. The data you enter into the App — your routines, to-dos, projects, daily logs, and your notification time preferences — so we can store it and sync it back to you across your devices.
- Subscription status. Whether you have an active subscription, your plan type, and renewal or cancellation status, linked to an anonymous account identifier. We do not receive your payment card details; all payments are handled by Apple.
- Limited technical data (via our providers). When the App connects to our backend and subscription providers, those providers automatically process basic technical information such as IP address, device and operating-system type, and connection timestamps in order to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
2. What we do not collect
We want to be clear about this. Deckly does not include any advertising or product-analytics tracking. Specifically, we do not:
- track the screens you view or the features you tap;
- collect advertising identifiers or show ads;
- track your precise or background location;
- collect crash or usage telemetry through analytics SDKs.
3. How we use your information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the App.
- Authenticate you and sync your content across your devices.
- Process and validate subscription purchases and unlock the corresponding access.
- Keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- Respond to you when you contact support.
4. Notifications
Deckly's reminders are local notifications scheduled directly on your device based on the reminder times you set. We do not operate a push-notification server and we do not collect a device push token.
5. Third-party services
We rely on a small number of service providers strictly to operate the App:
- Apple. App Store payments, subscription billing, receipt validation, and Sign in with Apple.
- A cloud backend provider. Hosting, user authentication, and secure database storage of your account and content.
- A subscription-management provider. Delivering the paywall and keeping track of your subscription and access status.
These providers act as processors on our behalf and handle data under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Legal bases (EU/EEA/UK users)
Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of (a) performance of a contract (providing the App and your account), (b) our legitimate interests (keeping the App secure and preventing abuse), and (c) your consent where required.
7. Data retention
We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your account and content data from our active systems within 30 days. Subscription and billing records are retained for as long as required by Apple and applicable tax and accounting laws. Any data cached locally on your device remains there until you sign out or delete the App.
8. Your rights and account deletion
You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing decklyappsupport@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and, in any case, within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your account and content data from our systems, except for records we are required to keep by law.
9. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed credentials, and access controls on our backend. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
10. Children
Deckly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than the one in which you live. Where required, we and our providers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect your data.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest revision. We will communicate material changes in-app or by email.
